Yeah, this one isn’t easy. It takes time, patience, a ton of blending, and dozens of products. There’s really no way around it. But, if I were you, I’d rather know that now and appreciate the challenge rather than be promised something quick and easy. Just saying.

I can’t take all the credit for this look - I found the eyes on YouTube, and I’ll share that video below.

The skin, however, was all me. I started with a detoxifying mask, then a hydrating and revitalizing sheet mask, followed by my normal, morning skincare routine.

Next, I used two primers and two foundations to get sheer, glowing coverage.

Then, I used one of my favorite new products, the Huda Overachiever High Coverage Concealer. I still love my IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye, but this color (Nougat) is better for me.

I’ll spare you all of the details, but the last product I’ll mention is my favorite product from the year and one that I think is totally worth the splurge: the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. It’s a primer, foundation, glow/highlight and/or Instagram filter depending on how you use it. This one is a little lighter than my skin tone, so I used it as the final touch of light to brighten, highlight, and pull everything together.

So for the eyes, I used a collection of brown, burgundy, gold and black shadows with Ardell Demi Wispy lashes.

Taking the time to really layer and blend the shadows ensures a soft look where you don’t loose any of the colors. The technique is copied directly from Kim Kardashian West’s makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, so of course I had to wear my Kim KW lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury. Here’s the final result…
