CO2 Lift Review and Results

If you tell me that I can have a face lift in an hour with no pain and no downtime, I’m in.

So, after months of agonizing over whether or not to try this (expensive) mask, I caved to the blogger reviews after (my fake friend but we totally would be IRL) Kelly from Velvet’s Edge praised the CO2 Lift and offered a discount code (make sure you follow her on Instagram @VelvetsEdge).

CO2 Life Face Mask

What is the CO2 Lift?

A face mask that, according to the website, “this is a Carboxytherapy Treatment that improves the skin's elasticity without the invasive procedure using an innovative gel-mask that is gentle enough to apply even on your eyelids and under eye. It Improves radiance immediately after each application by conditioning skin with intense hydration and boosting moisture retention.”

How does the CO2 Lift work?

I mixed the two gel products together, then applied ALL over my face, neck and back of hands (next time, I’ll do my chest, too) using the very handy plastic spatula they provided. It was surprisingly not goopy and stayed in place. After an hour, I peeled everything off and followed with my regular skincare.

What were your CO2 Lift results?

Not to burst the bubble, but I didn’t look like I had a face lift. Initially, while my skin was glowy and hydrated, I didn’t see any major results. Here’s the before with nothing on my skin:

And here’s immediately after removing the CO2 Lift, also with nothing on my skin:

After CO2 Lift

BUT, and this is a massive BUT, over the next few hours, my skin started to plump and feel so much tighter. The results were definitely noticeable, both in look and feel. Here’s a side-by-side for comparison of the initial results…especially check out my lips…I think results are visible more quickly there because the skin is thinner:

Would you repurchase the CO2 Lift?

The short answer is yes.

While the CO2 Lift does tighten and plump the skin after one use, I think the best results would come from a series of treatments in combination with a solid skincare routine. For example, I’d like to do a series of six treatments once a week, then do one mask per month.

But that’s not in the budget right now! If it is for you, they do offer a membership program.

Final thoughts on the CO2 Lift:

While this would definitely be worth the investment as a one-and-done treatment for a big event, unless you can commit to a series of masks, due to the price, it’s not something I’d add into my regular skincare routine right now.

However, it does deliver the best firming and plumping results I’ve ever seen! Definitely check out the website, and let me know if you try the CO2 Lift for yourself.
