I’m tired of hearing women don’t actually want to wear makeup, we only do it because society has conditioned us to think we must look good at all times - especially when the argument is supported with points like, “Do you think men care about looking good? No way!”
I believe makeup is neither here nor there when it comes to feminism. It just is…like wearing a certain outfit or liking a certain hobby. If you don’t wear makeup, you’re not more or less a feminist. If you do want to wear makeup, though, for whatever reason, and want to learn how to apply it so you get the look you want, that’s why Electra Lane exists.
While getting ready AND trying out a new foundation (the RMS Un-Cover Up Cream Foundation), we chat about this topic and, of course, lots of makeup tips. I hope you’ll sit down with me and get ready, then let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
